TAXILA: Two university students died while another was criticallyinjured when a speeding coaster hit their motorcycle on G.T. Road in the limits of Taxila police station on Wednesday.

The police sources said that Habib Abbasi along with Wajid Bashir and Mehtab Alam was going on his motorcycle when a Rawalpindi bound passenger van coming from Taxila ran over them. As a result Habib Abbasi and Wajid Bashir died on the spot while Mathab was critically injured.

The injured and dead were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Later,the injured was shifted to Rawalpindi due to his critical condition.

Police sources said that victims were students of a local university and belonged to Leepa valley Azad Kashmir. Taxila police have registered a case against the van driver and launched further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old boy was sexually assaulted in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Wednesday.

Uncle of the victim reported to police that the man later identified as Muzamil took him to his house where he sexually assaulted him. When he returned home, he revealed his ordeal to his uncle who took him to the police station.

The medical examination confirmed the assault.
