ISLAMABAD, Feb 4: An eight-member delegation including editors of three Chinese dailies, the World Affairs Magazine and Xinhua News Agency led by the spokesman of the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affaris, Sun Yuxi, called on the foreign secretary on Monday.

Foreign Secretary briefed the delegation on the situation in the region particularly Pakistan-India relations, Afghanistan and the steps taken by the government to eradicate extremism from the society. The Chinese spokesman appreciated the President’s address of Jan 12, and lauded the government measures to rid Pakistan of extremism.
