KARACHI: In order to facilitate the intending pilgrims to submit Haj applications, the State Bank of Pakistan has directed 15 designated banks to keep their branches open on Saturday and Sunday throughout the country.

The last date for submission of applications along with dues for the annual pilgrimage in 2025 is December 3, 2024.

The SBP issued the directives following a request by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to facilitate intending pilgrims, said a press release issued on Thursday.

As per the central bank’s directives, the branches will remain open from 9am to 2:30pm on Nov 30 and Dec 1, throughout the country.
