President, PM order inquiry

ISLAMABAD, April 12: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have condemned the Nishtar Park blast on the eve of Eid Miladun Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him). They also expressed sorrow over the tragic loss of life, media cell in the Prime Minister’s House said on Wednesday.

They talked to Governor Sindh Dr Irshatul Ibad and Chief Minister Sindh Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and inquired about the tragedy.

The president and the prime minister instructed the provincial authorities to provide immediately all medical care and support to the injured people and affected families.

They also directed authorities to hold a detailed inquiry to affix the responsibility for the heinous act.
