Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he hopes US President-elect Donald Trump will take a different approach on the Middle East during his second term, Al Jazeera reports citing Turkey’s NTV broadcaster.
“Our hope is that Trump takes very different steps towards the region this term because the messages being given from time to time concern us,” Erdogan was quoted as telling reporters during his return flight from Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku.
