Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has said — while citing a United Nations human rights office report — that it was evident that children and women were the ones paying the price for the “senseless war” on Gaza.

“You cannot fathom how intense this indiscriminate bombing has been on this trapped population,” she said in a post on X.

“Jan Egeland’s words — and the mounting evidence of the carnage in Gaza — should shake us all to our core,” Yousafzai said.
