MULTAN, April 7: Linkage between industry’s requirement and research being carried out at universities was underlined at the second day of the three-day sixth international and 16th national chemistry conference on Friday.

Scholars from the country and abroad read their papers at five different lecture halls at the Bahauddin Zakariya University.

Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, S.T Larmann from New Zealand and chairperson Dr Misbahulain Khan read their papers in the plenary session.

It may be added here that the Chemical Society of Pakistan, the co-organiser along with the BZU, will publish all the research papers. The final session will be held at the executive hall of the BZU’s Institute of Management Sciences on Saturday. — Correspondent
