The health ministry in Gaza said that at least 42,175 people have been killed in the Israeli bombardment since October 7, AFP reports.
The toll includes 49 deaths in the previous 24 hours, according to the ministry, which said 98,336 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the bombardment began.
