The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reports that it is receiving more distress calls than it can handle after the Israeli military issued evacuation orders for northern Gaza yesterday which it has followed up with another order this morning, according to Al Jazeera.

“They tell us they are scared and desperate. Many are pleading with us and asking the questions of where they can go, what they should do, and where they can find safety for themselves and their families,” said ICRC spokesperson Sarah Davies in a video message from Gaza.
