PESHAWAR, Oct 16: Two Afghan nationals, who had received multiple shrapnel injuries during attacks by US planes on Jalalabad, were admitted to a hospital in Bajaur on Tuesday.

They were identified as Rafiullah, son of Abdur Rahim; and Khan Mohammad, son of Mohammad Omar, residents of village Farmi Addah, Jalalabad.

According to Maulvi Gul Bahar, a relative of Khan Mohammad, the two people were about to go to bed when bombing started.

First they thought a Taliban armoury, nearby, was being targeted but they soon realized that it was their own village that was being bombed, he added.

Gul Bahar said the two men lived four km away from Jalalabad in a village, Addah Farmi, They had been shifted to the hospital by Edhi ambulances, he added.
