Gaza death toll hits 41,870 since Oct 7: health ministry

At least 41,870 Palestinians have been killed and 97,166 others injured in Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7, Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement, Reuters reports.

The toll included 45 people killed in the past 24 hours, the statement added.
