KARACHI, April 4: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi on Tuesday announced the results of the HSC part-II humanities (regular), special candidates, supplementary exams 2005. According to the statistics, in the regular candidates group, the total number of male candidates registered from the examination was 729. Out of them 703 candidates appeared in the exams and 143 of them were declared successful. The pass percentage remained at 20.34 per cent.

The total number of female candidates registered was 3,281. Out of them 3,161 appeared in the exams and 1,371 of them were declared successful. The pass percentage remained at 43.37 per cent.

In the special candidates group, the total number of male candidates registered for the exams was 6. All of them appeared in the examination and four of them passed it. The pass percentage remained at 66.67 per cent.

The total number of female candidates registered for the exam was 4. All of them appeared in the exams and two of them were declared successful. The pass percentage remained at 50 per cent.—PPI
