TOBA TEK SINGH: Two minor girls and a married woman were gang-raped in separate incidents in Faisalabad.

Robbers gang-raped a young woman during robbery at Ali Town in the Nishatabad police area of Faisalabad in the early hours of Saturday.

In the first information report (FIR), registered under rape and robbery charges, complainant Eid Muhammad said five suspects broke into his house at 1:30am. They robbed the family of cash, valuables and a motorcycle and forced him to go with them to knock at his neighbour’s house. When the neighbour opened the gate, the suspects entered it and took away Rs700,000, 10-tola gold ornaments, a motorcycle and other valuables.

Three robbers gang raped the 21-year-old wife the neighbour.

Reports said the unidentified suspects robbed two more houses in the same locality.

Two minor cousins raped by three at tuition centre

Faisalabad CPO Kamran Adil visited the house where the robberies and the gang-rape had taken place. He formed a team of expert police officers, headed by the SSP operations, to trace and arrest the suspects.

Meanwhile, two five-year-old cousin girls were gang-raped by three men at a tuition centre at Chak 225-RB, Malkhanwala, in the Saddar police area of Faisalabad.

According to the FIR, the complainant said his daughter and his brother-in-law’s daughter used to take tuition at the house of the suspect. When both girls returned from tuition on Sept 9, they fell ill. They were taken to a clinic for treatment.

When they felt better on Sept 28, they were asked to go for tuition but they hesitated. When they questioned about their reluctance, they revealed that the centre owner, his uncle and their friend had raped both of them after giving them sedatives in liquid.

A press release issued by the CPO office said both girls were taken to district headquarters hospital where the lady doctor confirmed that they had been raped.

The main suspect had been arrested while raids were being conducted to arrest the other two alleged rapists.

Meanwhile, a boy was raped near Mandi Shah Jewna in Jhang on Saturday.

The complainant, a resident of Mauza Bumbhwala, alleged in the FIR registered with Qadirpur police that his 13-year-old nephew was on the way to purchase commodities from Mandi Shah Jewna when three boys lured him to sit on their motorcycle.

They took him towards the canal where two boy overpowered him and one of them raped him.

Police arrested all the three suspects.
