TOBA TEK SINGH: A teenage girl was tortured, harassed, humiliated and was forced to parade in the street with a blackened face over a trifle at Chak 558-GB, Tandlianwala, in Faisalabad.

Complainant Riaz alleged in the FIR registered with Mamukanjan police that his daughter Sana Bibi (15) had quarrelled with neighbours over a children’s fight three days back. On Thursday, Khalid Sultan and six others, including three women of his family, attacked his house, pulled Sana into the street, tortured her, cut her hair, painted her face black with engine oil and forced her to parade in the street.

CPO Kamran Adil claimed that two main suspects, Khalid Sultan and Sultan Zulfiqar, had been arrested and raids were being conducted to arrest the others.
