SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: A girl was killed when roof of a mud house collapsed due to strong tremors in Zalai area of Lower Waziristan near Pak-Afghan border late on Wednesday night, area residents said.
They said that three-year-old daughter of Maulana Rehman Wali Wazir was buried alive under the rubble of collapsed roof.
The local residents rushed to the site of incident and retrieved the body of the girl. Later she was laid to rest at here ancestral graveyard.
The local residents and elected representatives have urged the government to compensate the bereaved family.
