KARACHI, March 31: Three ships carrying containers, general cargo and project cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Festa, to unload cars, Johar to offload crude oil and Yasmina, to load and unload general cargo were berthed after the departure of eight.

The ships, which departed included Iran Shahryar, Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star, Kota Wangsa, Kuo Hung, Swat, Dagat Blue and Festa, while Orient Independence, LTC Calvin P. Titus, MOL Kauri, Johar, A Shekyae and Maersk Alabama are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 73,750 tons comprising 22,919 tons of export cargo including 7,084 tons of rice and 50,831 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following vessels are due on Saturday: Nefli-1, with containers, Iron Butterfly, with project cargo and Spring Trader, with general cargo.
