Dacoits kill child

SHEIKHUPURA, March 30: Dacoits took away jewellery, valuables and shot dead a six-year-old boy when one of his family members offered resistance here on Thursday in Rasoolpura East locality of Farooqabad Town.

Reports said the gangsters entered the house of trader Sheikh Munir by scaling the boundary wall and started collecting valuables.

Meanwhile, one of his family members offered resistance on which the bandits opened fire, injuring Manzoor.

He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Farooqabad police are investigating.
