PESHAWAR, March 30: The NWFP government has formed a committee to determine compensation for losses suffered by shopkeepers during recent sectarian riots in Hangu city.

A notification issued here on Thursday said that the additional secretary (general) of the home department would head the committee. Riots broke out in the city after a suicide bomber attacked an Ashura procession on February 9, killing about 44 people and wounding about 100.
