MARDAN, March 29: Provincial president of the Awami National Party’s women’s wing, Zahira Afrasiab Khattak, appointed some office-bearers of the wing’s district organization here on Wednesday.

Noorin Naveed Khan was appointed district organizer, Saeeda Khattak deputy district organizer and Fahima Bibi, a local councillor, a member of the district chapter of the ANP women wing.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Zahira said that the ANP was becoming popular in the province and expressed the hope that the new district organization of the women wing would soon hold polls to complete the cabinet.
