Tor Wennesland, the UN’s special coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, has again called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in the wake of Israel’s deadly school attack.

“Every day civilians continue to bear brunt of this conflict amidst horror, displacement and endless suffering,” he said in a statement.

“The cost of this war is evident with every passing day as we have witnessed yet another devastating strike on a school sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinians, with dozens of fatalities.”
