LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) to increase its revenue by Rs50bn.

“Increase resources for maximum social welfare projects. Expand the scope of the PRA to 12 more districts of Punjab including Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Mandi Bahauddin, Bahawalpur, Okara, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, DG Khan and Toba Tek Singh to increase its revenue,” the CM said in a meeting with new PRA Chairman Nauman Yusuf here on Saturday.

She also directed him to link the PRA with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for real-time integration of databases.

Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zama and Secretary Finance Mujahid Sher Dil were also present in the meeting.
