Three found burnt alive identified as ‘criminals’

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three unidentified persons, who were found burnt alive in a car near Dangroo bridge on Sargodha Road in Faisalabad on Saturday, had been identified on Tuesday as suspects allegedly involved in murder and other crimes.

The deceased were identified as Mohsin Masih of Chamanzar Colony, Fayaz Ahmad of Sir Syed Town and Maqbool Ahmad of Sidhupura localities of Faisalabad.

Police sources say all three were allegedly involved in murder, kidnap for ransom and other crimes. However, they say that so far it could not be ascertained whether they were murdered or died in an accidental fire incident.

INJURED: At least 11 PTI activists, including 10 women, were injured on Monday night when their van collided with a truck near Pindi Bhattian.

Party sources say the injured activists were returning to Karachi after attending the PTI’s public meeting at Swabi.They were shifted to the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad.

The injured include Afza Ghouri, Farhat Ghouri, Shaheen Imran, Ghulam Fatima, Saba Yasir, Shabira and Awal Khan.
