MUZAFFARGARH: A man along with his two accomplices orchestrated the kidnap of his 12-year-old son in a bid to implicate his rivals here on Wednesday in Saddar Alipur police precincts.

The abductor of 12-year-old Muhammad Shehzad was revealed to be his own father.

Saddar Alipur Station House Officer Asmat Abbas said the boy’s father had previously filed a kidnapping case at the police station, claiming that his son had been abducted.

The police registered the case against unknown persons and formed special teams under the direction of DPO Syed Hasnain Haider.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the father, Mukhtiar Ali, was the captor.

He had hidden his child in Karachi on the advice of his friends Mazhar Patafi and Aqeel Parhar to implicate his rivals.

The SHO recovered the child from Karachi based on information provided by the father.

A case has been registered against the father and his two accomplices.
