The health ministry in Gaza has said that at least 39,400 people have been killed in almost 10 months of Israeli bombardment, AFP reports.
The toll includes 37 deaths in 24 hours, according to ministry figures, which also list 90,996 people as having been wounded in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
