KARACHI, March 25: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) sailed into the semifinals of the DHA Trophy KCCA Inter-departmental cricket tournament when they drubbed Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) at the KCCA Stadium on Friday.

Asif Zakir hit a fine 60 with six boundaries and Irfanullah got 47 with five fours with SSGC reaching 208 for nine in 45 overs.

KESC, in reply, were bowled out for 126 all out in 27.1 overs. Leg-spinner Mansoor Ahmed grabbed three wickets for 25 runs.

In another match, Investigation Police beat Hinopak Motors by five wickets at the TMC Ground.

Off-spinner Abdul Rasheed captured four for 23 and Khalid Rasheed scored a match-winning 42.
