HYDERABAD: By-election schedule

HYDERABAD, March 25: The last date for filing nomination papers for the by-election for the seat of NA-219, Hyderabad-II, has been fixed at March 27. The seat had fallen vacant following the death of Prof Khalid Wahab.

There are 241,688 registered voters in the constituency, including 110,374 women, according to the office of the assistant election commissioner, Hyderabad. A total of 125 polling stations with 355 polling booths will be set up for men and 115 polling stations with 331 polling booths for women for the polls, scheduled for May 2.—APP
