PESHAWAR: Three persons were killed and five others injured in an armed clash between rival groups over humiliating videos they shared against each other on social media, the police said.

A statement issued by the city police said that the exchange of fire took place between the two groups in Rasheed Garhi area in the jurisdiction of the Yakatoot police station.

It said that three persons died and five others sustained injuries from both the groups. The bodies and the injured persons were shifted to a hospital.

The statement said that police reached the spot and arrested five persons and recovered three pistols and a Kalashnikov from them.
