LAHORE: The Punjab government said on Saturday that it would launch the project to provide solar panels to the people consuming up to 500 units on easy instalments on Aug 14.

“Those using up to 200 units can acquire free solar panels from Aug 14. However, those using more than 200 units and up to 500 units will receive solar panels by making 10 per cent payment of total cost and the Punjab government will pay 90pc of the total amount,” a release said.
