LAHORE: The Punjab government has notified ad hoc relief and increase in pension in different proportions for the government employees in the province.
In a notification issued on Friday, the finance department notified a 25 percent increase on running basic pay for BS-1 to BS-16 employees; and 20pc of running basic pay for BS-17 to BS-22 employees.
The ad hoc relief will be paid with effect from July 1, 2024. The finance department has also notified 15pc increase in the net pension from July 1, 2024 for all civil pensioners of Punjab.
