Pro-Palestinian students demonstrating at Columbia University have said they will not negotiate with the university until their demands are met, Al Jazeera reports.

“The more that Columbia University attempts to silence and intimidate us, the louder we will be,” they said in posts on X.

They have demanded the university immediately stop suspending or expelling students, confer student degrees, release transcript holds for all graduating students affected by the disciplinary process and reinstate and compensate unjustly dismissed staff.
