KARACHI, March 23: The vision of the President of Pakistan and Chief Scout, General Pervez Musharraf is to pursue the path of enlightened moderation and to follow the footsteps of the founder of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

This will contribute towards the global peace and show understanding across borders to bring harmony in the life of masses, said Zobaida Jalal, Federal Minister for Social Welfare and Special Education, while addressing as chief guest at a ceremony at 60th Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Ismaili Darkhana Rovers Scouts Unit (DRSU) here Wednesday.

She said Pakistan Boys Scouts Association (PBSA) under the leadership of President Pervez Musharraf is working with the objectives to promote universal brotherhood and to make the world a much better place to live in.

PBSA’s activities and training programmes are also designed to accomplish the goals in accordance with the vision of chief scout of the country, she maintained.—APP
