Sir Syed, Abdullah in final

KARACHI, March 22: Defending champion Sir Syed College and Abdullah College cruised into the final of the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ throwball tournament after winning their pre-finals on Wednesday. Sir Syed College inflicted a straight 15-12, 15-7, 15-6 victory over DHA College. Sherish, Afshan, Aimel and Qurratul Ain were instrumental in their team’s triumph.

Abdullah College after winning the opener 15-9 against Karachi College were declared winners as the latter left the field in protest on some umpiring decisions.

The final between Sir Syed College and Abdullah College is slated for Friday.
