Tendulkar ruled out of ODIs

MUMBAI, March 21: Indian batting superstar Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the upcoming One-day International series against England due to a shoulder injury, a top official said on Tuesday. India will play seven one-dayers against England, the first starting in Delhi on March 28.

Tendulkar, however, is expected to bat in the second innings on the last day of the ongoing third and final Test against the tourists on Wednesday.

Tendulkar is also likely to miss the one-day series in the West Indies, scheduled to begin in May.
