The Government Media Office in Gaza has announced Israel’s killing of Mahmoud Qassem, a Palestinian journalist working with digital publication Palestine Online, Al Jazeera reports.
It did not elaborate on the location and the date of the killing.
His death brought the number of journalists killed during Israel’s invasion of Gaza to 151, it said in a Telegram post.
