LAHORE: A woman was allegedly murdered by her father-in-law over petty domestic issues in the Badami Bagh area here on Sunday.

Identified as Ishtiaq, the suspect was arrested by the police and sent behind the bars, according to the police.

A police official said Ishtiaq exchanged hot words with his daughter-in-law (A) over petty domestic issues and attacked her with a knife. She got multiple wounds and died when she was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, he said, adding that the family alerted the police which reached the site and arrested the suspect.
