ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has ordered depositing a gift, he received during his recent visit to Uzbekistan, to the Toshakhana with a request to display it in the Supreme Court Museum.

During his visit to the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, CJP Isa was gifted a watch with a beautifully crafted piece depicting the ‘Monument of Independence’ of Uzbekistan with Humo bird (Simurgh) on top.

According to an announcement by the Supreme Court, the gift has been submitted to the Toshakhana.

Earlier it was decided that a valuable gift presented to CJP Isa — Golden Kaaba Door’s Pen — will be put on display at the Supreme Court Museum after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif granted approval under the Toshakhana Procedures.
