MARDAN, March 17: Awami National Party provincial president Bashir Ahmed Bilour has said that MMA legislators disappointed the people during the Senate election for changing loyalty.

Addressing a party gathering here on Friday, he alleged that MMA legislators sold their votes despite the fact that they had taken oath vote for candidates of the religious parties’ alliance. They had disappointed the people who had chosen them as their representatives, he added.

Mr Bilour said that his party would form the next NWFP government and would redress the grievances of the people.

ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain urged party workers to start preparing for the next general elections.

He said that the ANP held intra-party election at the union council level in a transparent way in order to strengthen it.
