WASHINGTON, March 16: US Under-Secretary of State Nicholas Burns said on Thursday that if the US Congress approved the Indo-US nuclear deal, India can be brought into the mainstream of the non-proliferation regime.
As Mr Burns was addressing reporters at the State Department, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Dick Lugar announced on Capitol Hill that the administration has introduced the India nuclear bill in both houses of Congress.
