CHARSADDA: Condemning violent attacks on foreign students in Bishkek, ANP central president Aimal Wali Khan has demanded of the government of Kyrgyzstan to take steps to control the situation and establish peace.

In a statement issued from Wali Bagh here, the ANP chief said violent incidents between local people and foreign students, including Pakistanis in Bishkek, were worrying.

He also demanded of the Pakistani embassy in Bishkek to play its due role in protecting the students there. He also asked students to refrain from leaving the hostels until the conditions were favourable.

Aimal Wali said that the Kyrgyzstan government should also ensure the safety of foreign students, saying that due to some malicious elements, such incidents increased mistrust among the government of Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
