RAWALPINDI: A teenage girl was raped in Qasimabad while another was sexually abused in the Airport police area.

According to police, a girl studying in 5th grade was allegedly raped by a boy within the limits of Naseerabad police.

The father of the rape victim lodged an FIR with the police on Saturday, saying that his daughter was going to a tuition centre when she was forcibly taken to a house by the suspect and raped.

He said his daughter had been terrified and distressed for the past few days. Upon inquiring, she disclosed that on May 3, she was trapped by a person who took her to a house located near a private school and assaulted her.

She was also threatened with dire consequences.

According to the FIR, after the incident was probed by the victim’s family, it was discovered that a boy from the street was involved in the crime.

In the second incident, a girl seeking employment was sexually abused by a man within the limits of Airport police.

In the FIR, the victim said she had developed a friendship with a boy on Tiktok about five months ago. She said the suspect called her to Bahria Heights on the pretext of getting her employment. She said she was tortured and sexually abused by the suspect; however she managed to escape from there and lodged an FIR with the police.
