MUZAFFARGARH: First open heart surgery performed at the Rajab Tayyab Erdogan Hospital here a week ago has been successful .
Cardiac patient Mukhtar Ahmad who went under the knife is now preparing to leave the hospital.
Dr Irfan Javed of the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital reiterated the hospital’s commitment to continue providing free heart surgeries.
Mukhtar Ahmad said he was grateful to the entire team for exceptional care and commitment. He said he was unable to afford the cost of this operation after learning about his illness.
