TAXILA: Two persons were killed when their motorcycle collided with a car on Rawalpindi road in the limits of Fatehjang police station on Tuesday, police sources said.

According to police sources, Zain Elahi, 21, and his friend Haider Ali, 18, were going on a motorcycle when a speeding car hit them killing both of them on the spot .

Later, their bodies were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fatehjang. Police have registered a case and launched further investigation.

Drug supplier arrested

Police on Tuesday arrested a drug supplier and recovered a huge quantity of hashish from his possession.

Police spokesman said a team of Wah Saddar police led by SHO Amir Jahangir intercepted a narcotics dealer identified as Lal Zaman travelling on G.T. Road on his motorcycle and during search 8kg of hashish was recovered.

Police have registered a case under section 9-C of control of narcotics substance act 1997 and launched further investigation.
