SUKKUR: Three men, among them a passerby, were killed and another pedestrian suffered critical wounds when armed men riding a motorcycle fired indiscriminately at members of their rival group at Dak Naka near Garhi Yasin in Shikarpur district on Tuesday.

Local sources believed that the attack was an offshoot of an old rivalry between Mahar and Marfani clans.

Police officials said that the bodies were identified as those of Asif Ali Marfani, Mohammad Ali Marfani and Saeed Ahmed Jamali, the passerby, they said.
