MUZAFFARGARH: A candidate of PP-269 was seriously injured in a traffic accident and sent to Nishtar Hospital, Multan, on Thursday.
Iqbal Khan has been allotted sheep symbol to contest the May 18 by-election. According to sources, he was heading to his home after getting the symbol when his vehicle collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite side.
He is an independent candidate contesting against candidates of Sunni Ittehad Council and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
