HYDERABAD, March 13: Sindh Taraqi Passand Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi has said that his party always advocates friendly relations between Pakistan and India. He said that for opposing confrontation between the two neighbours in the past, the STPP had been dubbed as the agent of India.

He was speaking at a reception hosted in honour of the visiting Indian delegation by the central leaders of his party.

He made it clear that the people of Sindh were not opposed to cordial relations between Pakistan and India but opposed to the influx of outsiders through the Khokhropar route and their rehabilitation in Sindh.

He said that the people of Sindh had not been benefited by running the Thar Express.

Dr Magsi said that the two countries should protect the historical identity of their nations.

The leader of the Indian delegation, Mr Jawahar Lal said that they had brought the message of love and peace to Sindh.
