Book fair

AMIDST the vibrant tapestry of literary offerings at the recent Punjab University book fair, my journey through the stalls led me to a plethora of esteemed Urdu writers, whose works adorned the shelves with their timeless tales and evocative poetry. From the soul-stirring verses of Faiz Ahmed Faiz to the enchanting prose of Intizar Hussain, each book promised quality time. International literature, too, found its place at the fair, with translations of classics from around the globe.

Venturing further, I found myself surrounded by a kaleidoscope of religious texts, offering solace and wisdom. For those seeking personal growth and empowerment, the self-help section proved to be a treasure trove of knowledge. The book fair truely was a celebration of the written word in all its forms, a testament to the enduring power of literature to inform, inspire and unite us all. Such book fairs are enlightening.
