KARACHI: A young man was shot dead while another wounded in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Thursday evening, police said.
Sharea Faisal SHO Raja Tariq Mehmood said that the victims were on their way to purchase food for Iftar when armed pillion riders approached them and opened indiscriminate fire near Rado Bakery in Block-15.
As a result, Rana Basharat, 32, suffered multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot while Imran Husain received three bullet wounds. The SHO said that the victims originally hailed from Kashmore and had personal enmity there.
