PFUJ, Apnec meeting

KARACHI, March 9: A meeting of the federal executive bodies of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and the All Pakistan Newspaper Employees’ Confederation (Apnec) will be held in Faisalabad from March 10 to 12 to discuss problems pertaining to newspaper employees, including the 7th Wage Award, threats to freedom of the press, particularly in the tribal areas of the NWFP, and the cartoon controversy. The meeting will be held at the Faisalabad Press Club and hosted by the Faisalabad Union of Journalists, according to a press release.
