Members of the Sindh cabinet have been assigned their portfolios after their oath-taking ceremony earlier today.

A statement issued by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s spokesperson Abdul Rasheed Channa said Sharjeel Memon was assigned the portfolios of the Department of Transport and Mass Transit and the Department of Excise, Taxation and Narcotics.

Dr Azra Pechuho was given the Ministry of Health and Population Welfare while Syed Nasir Hussain Shah was entrusted with the portfolio of the Department of Energy and Planning and Development.

Syed Sardar Ali Shah was given the portfolio of Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of College Education and Department of Mines and Minerals Development while Saeed Ghani was entrusted with the portfolio of Local Government and Housing Town Planning Department and Public Health Engineering and Rural Development.

Jam Khan Shoro was made the Minister of Irrigation and Foodstuffs Department while Zia Lanjar was assigned the portfolios of Interior and Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Criminal Prosecution.

Mohammad Bux Mahar was given the portfolios of Agriculture, Supply and Price, Sports and Youth Affairs and Inquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment while Ali Hassan Zardari was given the portfolio of prisons.

Syed Zulfikar Ali Shah was assigned the portfolio of Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives.
