HARIPUR: Players exhibited their skills in bodybuilding, arm wrestling and physique fitness during the Mr Hazara Championship 2024 held here on Saturday.

Builders Gym, Haripur, organised the event in collaboration with the district administration, Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation and Hazara Bodybuilding Federation.

Players from different parts of the province took part in the competitions of different weight categories held in the hall of Hakim Abdul Salam Library with a sizeable audience of sports lovers and dignitaries.

According to results, Zeeshan and Ayan clinched the trophies of Mr Hazara senior and junior champions, respectively, in the category of best physique fitness.

In bodybuilding competition, the judges declared Fahad Shakil as junior Mr Hazara champion and Usman as senior Mr Hazara champion, while in arm wrestling, national champion Umar Zia clinched the top position of Mr Hazara champion senior, while Awais Naseen stood junior Mr Hazara champion 2024.

Organisers Zeeshan Ahmed and Ahsan Khan said the purpose of organising the championship was to engage the youth in healthy sports activities and improve their resilience against the negative activities.

Haripur deputy commissioner Mohammad Khan, assistant commissioner Hamza Abbas, assistant commissioner, Khanpur, Faraz Qureshi, officials of sports, education departments and tehsil municipal administration were also in attendance.
